Methods to solve the problem of easy warpage during grinding of surface grinding machine surface grinding machine is widely used by machining workers, but warpage may occur during grinding. In order to better solve this problem, the following methods can be adopted:
First: when grinding the above-mentioned sheet workpiece on the surface grinder, the elastic clamping arrangement is selected to complete the positioning and clamping of the sheet workpiece in the free state. A layer of 0.5mm thick rubber is padded between the workpiece and the magnetic worktable. When the workpiece is affected by magnetic attraction, the rubber will be compressed, and the elastic deformation of the surface grinder will be reduced, and then the flat surface of the workpiece can be ground. Repeated grinding for several times can meet the needs of machining accuracy.
Second: epoxy resin bonding agent is used to bond the sheet workpiece to a flat plate in a free state. The plate is placed on the magnetic chuck together with the sheet. After flattening one end of the sheet, remove the sheet workpiece from the plate, place the flattened surface on the magnetic chuck, and then grind the other end of the sheet workpiece. Because the epoxy resin has fluidity before hardening, it can fill the space between the sheet workpiece and the plate. When the epoxy resin is hardened, the workpiece and the plate are bonded together to form a whole, and then the rigidity of the workpiece is greatly enhanced. Under the magnetic attraction, the sheet workpiece will not be clamped and deformed, which provides clear conditions for grinding a flat plane. The surface grinder can also use thick grease instead of epoxy resin to fill the space between the thin workpiece and the magnetic chuck, so as to enhance the rigidity of the workpiece and achieve excellent results.
Third: use the flat tongs in the accessories of the surface grinding machine to suck the thin-walled workpieces by the magnetic worktable. Since the flat tongs have a certain height, the jaws are subject to small magnetic force. Select the method of gradually reducing the feed rate to grind one plane of the sheet workpiece and then take it off. At this time, put the ground plane on the magnetic workbench, and then the surface grinder will grind the other plane of the sheet workpiece. Repeat the grinding for several times, and the flatness of the two planes will meet the needs.
Fourth: the surface grinder uses atmospheric pressure to clamp the thin workpiece for grinding.
