1) Software failure caused by programming error. This type of fault numerical control system generally has alarm display. According to the alarm information, check and modify the processing program for troubleshooting.

2) Machine data, parameter setting caused by incorrect software fault. At present, there are a lot of machine tool data to be set in the CNC system. Sometimes, due to insufficient power supply of backup battery, electromagnetic interference, human error and other reasons, the machine data is changed or the machine is used for a period of time. Some data needs to be adjusted, but not adjusted. At this time, the machine will fail. This kind of fault can be eliminated as long as the corresponding data is corrected.

3) Incorrect operation and software failure. This type of fault is usually caused by an operation error when the machine is in use or when the machine is newly replaced.

Hardware failure

Hardware failure is a failure that is replaced or repaired by damaged equipment. The reliability of CNC system is getting higher and higher, and the failure rate of hardware failure is getting lower and lower. The more common hardware failure is the damage of PLC transmission output interface. PLC input interface problem, the system cannot get feedback; PLC output interface problem, power amplifier component can not get command signal and function loss. There are usually two solutions:

1) Modify the PLC program. If there is a standby interface, the easier solution is to modify the PLC program and replace the damaged interface with the standby interface.

2) Replace spare parts. This method is simple but costly.
